  • PhD students will usually be part of a doctoral program at UPV/EHU. There are several thematically fitting programs. The usual one used at DIPC is Doctoral Programme in Physics of Nanostructures and Advanced Materials. The applicable procedures are summarized here.
  • For supervisors that are not part of UPV/EHU, in addition to the supervisor, a tutor is needed, who provides formal oversight.
  • A theses can be co-supervised by two researchers.
